I am the taillight of a tricycle, quietly embedded in the rear of the vehicle. My presence may not be conspicuous, but I shoulder an important mission – to provide warnings for pedestrians and vehicles at night and ensure driving safety.
Every day, I witness the hustle and bustle of the city. In the morning, as the first ray of sunlight seeps through the mist, I begin my work. The tricycle driver carried fresh vegetables and fruits, shuttling through the busy streets. I followed the bumps of the vehicle, flashing a faint light, reminding the vehicles and pedestrians behind to pay attention to safety.
In the afternoon, the sunshine became hot, and I quietly observed the world. The children come home from school, chasing and playing happily. I silently guard them, reminding passing vehicles with my faint light and protecting these innocent smiling faces.
As night falls and the lanterns light up, I become even busier. On the dim street, I tried my best to flicker, guiding the tricycle driver and providing warnings for the vehicles behind me. I have witnessed the reunion of countless families, as well as the prosperity and silence of the city.
Sometimes, I also feel lonely. On long nights, only I accompanied the streetlights, but I knew that my perseverance was valuable. Every time I see the tricycle driver safely delivering the goods, and every time I see pedestrians avoiding an accident because of my reminders, my heart is filled with warmth and pride.
I am an ordinary tricycle taillight, but I have an extraordinary mission. In this fast-paced world, I protect the safety of every life in my own way. Although I am just a small taillight, I firmly believe that even the slightest light can illuminate the path ahead.
