My electric three-wheeled ice cream retail vehicle and I are truly a unique sight in the streets and alleys. It’s not an exaggeration to say that we are a pair of “sweetness makers”. The days spent with it are filled with a basketful of interesting stories, which could even be written into a “Street Sweet Laughter Chronicle”.

As soon as this little guy stops, it’s like a magical prop that has popped out of a fairy tale. I have carefully decorated the vehicle body, pasting it all over with colorful ice cream pictures. Paired with that eye-catching canopy, it’s just like a moving sweet castle. Every time I stand beside the vehicle, I feel like the protagonist about to embark on a wonderful adventure. Although I’m just selling ice creams, there is a full sense of ritual. Once, just as I set up my stall at the school gate, several primary school students gathered around as if they had been enchanted. A little boy wearing a red scarf opened his eyes as wide as copper bells and shouted loudly, “Wow! This is a magical battle vehicle that can conjure up ice creams!” A little girl beside him chimed in, “Yeah, yeah! It must have come from the Ice and Snow Town!” When I heard that, I almost burst out laughing like a pig. Ever since then, when I look at my vehicle again, it really does seem like a magical battle vehicle.

Every time I start it, the sound is like a cheerful little horn, making a soft “beep beep beep” sound. Compared with the “roar” of those large trucks that go “rumble rumble rumble”, it’s incredibly gentle. Once, when I was waiting for the green light at the intersection of a bustling commercial street, there was a large truck parked beside me. When it started, the momentum was such that I felt the ground shaking. Then I looked at my little electric tricycle, which was as quiet as a docile little sheep. As soon as the green light came on, I gently turned the throttle, and my “sweet little battle vehicle” shot out like an arrow leaving the bow, nimbly shuttling through the traffic and leaving the large truck far behind. The driver of the large truck was probably stunned and must have been thinking in his heart, “How can this little thing run so quickly and quietly?” At that moment, I felt as if I was driving a supercar, speeding on the sweet track, and I was extremely proud.

However, this cute little thing will occasionally throw a little tantrum. Once, I went to a market in the suburbs to sell ice creams. When I was selling them vigorously, I suddenly found that the ice creams in the freezer were starting to soften a bit. I immediately panicked and quickly checked the vehicle. I turned the vehicle upside down, and I was so tired that I was sweating all over, but I still couldn’t find out what was wrong. Just when I was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, a kind-hearted old man came over. The old man circled around the vehicle and said with a smile, “Young man, is your treasure ‘hungry’? It’s time to charge it. Without electricity, it can’t keep the ice creams fresh.” I slapped my forehead. Oh dear, I was so busy with my business that I actually forgot to charge it. I smiled awkwardly and quickly went to a nearby store to borrow electricity for charging. After it was fully charged, the vehicle immediately regained its vitality, and the ice creams in the freezer became hard again, as if saying proudly, “Hmph, don’t be so careless in the future!”

Speaking of the vehicle’s cargo-carrying capacity, it really has hidden capabilities. Despite its small size, when it comes to loading ice creams, it’s like a bottomless pit. Once, a kindergarten held a parent-child activity and placed a large order for ice creams with me. There were ice creams of various flavors and shapes piled up like a hill. I originally thought I would have to make several trips to deliver them all. As a result, by using my skills as a “master of storage”, arranging and placing the ice creams here and there, I miraculously managed to fit all the ice creams into the vehicle. The kindergarten teacher stood beside me, gaping in astonishment, and exclaimed, “Your vehicle is simply Doraemon’s pocket. It can hold anything. It’s so amazing!” As I drove the vehicle loaded with ice creams on the road, I felt like a sweet messenger, carrying a vehicle full of happiness and heading towards all the places filled with laughter.

The days spent with my electric three-wheeled ice cream retail vehicle are full of laughter and surprises. Although it doesn’t have luxurious configurations or a cool appearance, in my heart, it is that unique and most considerate good partner. It accompanies me as I move forward with a “beep beep beep” sound on the road of life. Who knows, maybe someday it will create even more hilarious stories that will make people laugh until their stomachs ache!
